2027 Open Call for Exhibition Proposals Google Form

Alternative Space LOOP is now accepting applications for its 2027 Open Call for Exhibition Proposals. Applications will be open from September 16 (Wed) through October 5 (Mon), 2026.

From last year, we have removed the distinction between artists, curators, and other types of applicants. Proposals are welcome across all genres and media, from both individuals and teams, in a wide range of artistic project formats.

LOOP welcomes projects that explore new approaches to exhibition-making and reflect on the social role of contemporary art. We hope LOOP can provide an institutional context in which these projects are developed, presented, and brought into dialogue with audiences.

Selected exhibition(s) will be presented as part of LOOP’s 2027 programme. Following the selection, participants will work closely with LOOP throughout the preparation and realization of their exhibitions, with opportunities to continue collaborating through LOOP’s local and international networks and future projects.
We warmly welcome applications from those interested in taking part.

Open Call Schedule

• Application period: September 16 (Wed) – October 5 (Mon), 2026
• Review: October 2026
• Final selection announcement: Late October 2026 (Selected applicants will be notified individually, and the results will also be announced on LOOP’s website and official social media channels.)
• Selected exhibition(s): To be presented in 2027 (Detailed schedules will be discussed with selected participants following the selection.)

Support

• Exhibition space at Alternative Space LOOP
• Curatorial and operational support
• Exhibition graphic design (posters, leaflets, etc.) and promotional support
• Use of LOOP’s available equipment
• Connections to local and international networks and future projects
• Project grant of approximately KRW 1,000,000

Eligibility

• No restrictions on age, education, nationality, or gender
• Open to artists, curators, collectives, and other individuals or teams

Exhibition Formats

• Solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, curatorial projects, and other exhibition formats
• No restrictions on genre
• Application deadline: October 5 (Mon), 2026, 24:00 KST

• Download and complete the designated application form ‘2027 LOOP Open Call for Exhibition Proposals Application Form’, then submit it through the Google Form above.
• Maximum 25 pages; PDF format required

Selection Process

• Following the document review, shortlisted applicants will be contacted individually for an interview in October.
• Approximately 1–2 individuals or teams will be selected following individual interviews.
• Final results will be communicated individually and announced on Alternative Space LOOP’s website and official social media channels.

Important Notes

• Applications must use the designated application form and be submitted in PDF format.
• Applications may be disqualified or selections revoked if plagiarism, false information, or other grounds for disqualification are identified.
• The detailed schedule and format of selected exhibitions will be determined in consultation with Alternative Space LOOP following the selection.

2027 대안공간 루프 전시 공모 신청 구글폼

2026년 9월 16일(수)부터 10월 5일(월)까지, 2027 대안공간 루프 프로그램을 위한 전시 공모를 진행합니다. 올해부터는 작가, 큐레이터 등 지원 주체의 구분을 없앱니다. 장르와 매체, 개인과 팀의 형태에 제한 없이 다양한 예술 프로젝트로 지원할 수 있습니다.

대안공간 루프는 전시의 형식을 새롭게 실험하고, 동시대 예술 전시의 사회적 역할을 다시 묻는 시도를 지지하며 연대하고자 합니다. 이러한 시도들이 루프라는 예술 기관에서 실현되고 관객과 만나기를 기대합니다.

최종 선정된 프로젝트는 2027년 대안공간 루프의 전시 프로그램으로 진행됩니다. 선정 이후 전시 준비와 진행 과정에서 루프와 긴밀히 협력하며, 향후 루프와 다양한 형태의 협업을 이어가게 됩니다.

공모 일정

• 공모 접수: 2026년 9월 16일(수) – 10월 5일(월)
• 심사: 2026년 10월 중
• 최종 선정자 발표: 2026년 10월 말 예정 (개별 연락 및 루프 웹사이트 · 공식 소셜미디어 공지)
• 최종 선정 전시 진행: 2027년 중 (세부 일정은 선정 후 협의 예정)

• 최종 선정 결과는 개별 연락 및 대안공간 루프 웹사이트·공식 소셜미디어를 통해 공지
